Trending Travel - Travel platform for shopping guide with influencer

If you understand the title, you will know how strong this business model is. Arthur and Wendy are a couple who love to travel. When we were locked at home because of the pandemic, we watch "Hey, what are we gotta do for this week.

Ariel's travel videos, including trips to Iceland, Chiang Mai and other interesting and fun attractions around the world, just one Ariel family is so strong, what about a group of Ariels?

We also start from the analysis of the four points of new ventures, and deeply analyze why Trending Travel is highly investable and its business model analysis:

1. Pain points:

I searched for "human travel nature" on Google, and found that human beings love to travel, which is scientifically proved, because the earliest humans were originally nomads, so you and I still have genes for exploration and adventure in our genes.

In other words, the pain point is very painful, it is a rigid demand, and the market is huge.

2. Solution:

This is where TT is great. Rather than being a boring travel platform, relying on a large number of tickets to compete with low-priced tickets, TT chooses the relatively high-end Luxury tour market. Of course, this is also related to the experience of the two founders. There will be more descriptions.

TT found a Director named Suzy, focusing on the development of Influncer, and Suzy is not an ordinary Business Developer (BD), Suzy is the so-called Superconnector, I googled the word, the logic is probably very good at making friends, trying every means people who increase engagement (Arthur seems to be such a person, but from the perspective of a co-founder, I have to withdraw from this position, otherwise the company will not be able to do much), so through the strong connection between Suzy and Influencer, let TT's word of mouth spread it is super fast, and the conversion rate and the unit price of the customer are far better than that of general travel agencies.

3. Entry Barrier

If you have heard of TK Talk, you will know that the community is a strong barrier to competition, so when you are the founders of  Popchill (excluding them being the founders of KUOBROTHERS CORP), you can raise 100m NTD with only a pitch deck.

And what TT is strong is not just the community, but the community of influencers, in other words, a community of fleets. The Master Chief of each warship is the Influencer, and he will bring a group of fans below. The battle is definitely a Spartan army with a hundred kills for each!!!

Let's take a look at figures:

i. 250K followers

ii. Reached 100 million unique users

iii. The average tour consumption is 3,000 pounds

iv. This is great, TT expects to enter the US market within 18 months

4. Team

TT's team can definitely be described as luxurious, let's take a look:

- Co-Founder & CEO - Keith Herman has more than 20 years of experience in the tourism industry, with many years in between. He is engaged in high-end tourism services and is a serial entrepreneur in the tourism industry.

- Co-Founder & Director - Sophie Foster, TT seems to be her first venture, but she also has over 20 years of experience in boutique hotels, including Hilton and Accor, and is an experienced business and account manager.

- Influencer Director - Suzy Kilshaw claims to be Superconnector, then I googled the term and found an article by Forbes, the definition is: "A Super Connector is a person who maintains contact with thousands of people in many different worlds and knows them well enough to give them a call.", the Chinese translation means that the person who has more than 1,000 contacts and who dares to pick up the phone and dial directly is called a Superconnector (I really have this one, as a manager of accelerator and a serial entrepreneur at the same time will know lots of people, and they're all very smart people).

- Creative Director - Oliver Kilshaw has been in community marketing for over ten years and is also the CEO of a consulting firm.

Writing this, I think the two Co-Founders of TT are very powerful. They used their dreams to acquire Suzy and Oliver's companies (or their dreams), which is actually a very difficult thing. Now I want to convince the CTO to contribute full-time. Spend a lot of time and energy, but he is still swinging between Foundersbacker and another entrepreneurial project. I can only invite him to dinner three times a day. I told him that Foundersbacker dream is far greater than another old startup.

To sum up, I personally think that TT is a good company worth investing in. ByteDance, the unicorn with the highest valuation in the world, invested 180 million RMB in series B into Taiyang Chuanhe - the brokerage company that invested in Papi Jiang. This is enough to prove that the Internet celebrity fleet can be a good business model, plus the rich experience of the TT team, I personally give them 4.5 stars, and make the second overweight investment in Crowcube (investment has profit and loss, especially new venture investment, so don't be greedy and keep investing, at least follow Arthur and invest in 30 new startups, otherwise don't blame me for losing money).
